بِسْمِIn (the) name

ٱللَّهِ(of) Allah

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِthe Most Gracious

ٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Merciful

In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

ٱلْحَمْدُAll praises and thanks

لِلَّهِ(be) to Allah

رَبِّthe Lord

ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَof the universe

[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Lord of the worlds -

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِThe Most Gracious

ٱلرَّحِيمِthe Most Merciful

The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

مَـٰلِكِ(The) Master

يَوْمِ(of the) Day

ٱلدِّينِ(of the) Judgment

Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.

إِيَّاكَYou Alone

نَعْبُدُwe worship

وَإِيَّاكَand You Alone

نَسْتَعِينُwe ask for help

It is You we worship and You we ask for help.

ٱهْدِنَاGuide us

ٱلصِّرَٲطَ(to) the path

ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَthe straight

Guide us to the straight path -

صِرَٲطَ(The) path

ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those

أَنْعَمْتَYou have bestowed (Your) Favors

عَلَيْهِمْon them

غَيْرِnot (of)

ٱلْمَغْضُوبِthose who earned (Your) wrath

عَلَيْهِمْon themselves

وَلَاand not

ٱلضَّآلِّينَ(of) those who go astray

The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
