الناسTeaches the believer to seek refuge in Allah from the whispering evil that creeps into the human heart, from among both jinn and men.

قُلْSay
أَعُوذُI seek refuge
بِرَبِّin (the) Lord
ٱلنَّاسِ(of) mankind
١
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
2
مَلِكِ(The) King
ٱلنَّاسِ(of) mankind
٢
The Sovereign of mankind,
3
إِلَـٰهِ(The) God
ٱلنَّاسِ(of) mankind
٣
The God of mankind,
4
مِنFrom
شَرِّ(the) evil
ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ(of) the whisperer
ٱلْخَنَّاسِthe one who withdraws

From the evil of the retreating whisperer -
5
ٱلَّذِىThe one who
يُوَسْوِسُwhispers
فِىin
صُدُورِ(the) breasts
ٱلنَّاسِ(of) mankind
٥
Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -
6
مِنَFrom
ٱلْجِنَّةِthe jinn
وَٱلنَّاسِand men
٦
From among the jinn and mankind".
