The Daybreak

قُلْSay
أَعُوذُI seek refuge
بِرَبِّin (the) Lord
ٱلْفَلَقِ(of) the dawn
١
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
2
مِنFrom
شَرِّ(the) evil
مَا(of) what
خَلَقَHe created
2
From the evil of that which He created
3
وَمِنAnd from
شَرِّ(the) evil
غَاسِقٍ(of) darkness
إِذَاwhen
وَقَبَit spreads
3
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
4
وَمِنAnd from
شَرِّ(the) evil
ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ(of) the blowers
فِىin
ٱلْعُقَدِthe knots
4
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
5
وَمِنAnd from
شَرِّ(the) evil
حَاسِدٍ(of) an envier
إِذَاwhen
حَسَدَhe envies
5
And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
