The Coursers
العادياتWarns of the ingratitude and heedlessness that grip those who deny the Hereafter, reminding them that even their innermost secrets will be exposed on that Day.

وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِBy the racers
ضَبْحًاpanting
١
By the racers, panting,
2
فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِAnd the producers of sparks
قَدْحًاstriking
٢
And the producers of sparks [when] striking
3
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٲتِAnd the chargers
صُبْحًا(at) dawn
٣
And the chargers at dawn,
4
فَأَثَرْنَThen raise
بِهِۦthereby
نَقْعًاdust
٤
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
5
فَوَسَطْنَThen penetrate (in the) center
بِهِۦthereby
جَمْعًاcollectively
٥
Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
6
إِنَّIndeed
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَmankind
لِرَبِّهِۦto his Lord
لَكَنُودٌ(is) surely ungrateful
٦
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
7
وَإِنَّهُۥAnd indeed, he
عَلَىٰon
ذَٲلِكَthat
لَشَهِيدٌsurely (is) a witness
٧
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
8
وَإِنَّهُۥAnd indeed he
لِحُبِّin (the) love
ٱلْخَيْرِ(of) wealth
لَشَدِيدٌ(is) surely intense
٨
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
9
۞ أَفَلَاBut does not
يَعْلَمُhe know
إِذَاwhen
بُعْثِرَwill be scattered
مَاwhat
فِى(is) in
ٱلْقُبُورِthe graves

But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
10
وَحُصِّلَAnd is made apparent
مَاwhat
فِى(is) in
ٱلصُّدُورِthe breasts
١٠
And that within the breasts is obtained,
11
إِنَّIndeed
رَبَّهُمtheir Lord
بِهِمْabout them
يَوْمَئِذٍۢthat Day
لَّخَبِيرٌۢ(is) surely All-Aware

Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Aware.
