بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

قُلْSay
هُوَHe
ٱللَّهُ(is) Allah
أَحَدٌthe One
١

Say, "He is Allāh, [who is] One,

ٱللَّهُAllah
ٱلصَّمَدُthe Eternal, the Absolute
٢

Allāh, the Eternal Refuge.

لَمْNot
يَلِدْHe begets
وَلَمْand not
يُولَدْHe is begotten
٣

He neither begets nor is born,

4
وَلَمْAnd not
يَكُنis
لَّهُۥfor Him
كُفُوًاequivalent
أَحَدٌۢany [one]

Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
